Print only the name tag (without the security tag) at check-in

Can you print just the child's name tag and skip the parent security tag when kids check in -- for example, for a small camp? Yes. By default, TimelyChurch prints two labels at check-in -- a child name tag and a parent security tag (with a matching pickup code). You can turn either one off.

Print only the name tag

1. Go to Check-In → Settings → Printer Setup.
2. Uncheck "Print parent security tag" (leave "Print child name tag" checked).
3. Click Save.

From now on, check-in prints only the child's name tag.

Note: The parent security tag carries the pickup code that matches the child's tag -- it's the safety check that confirms the right person is picking up the child. If you turn it off, pickup is verified by your roster / knowing the family instead of a code. That's a great fit for small, familiar groups like a summer camp; for larger kids ministries we recommend keeping the security tag on. You can fully customize both labels in the Label Designer.
