Teacher Dashboard
The Teacher Dashboard is part of the unified Member Portal and serves as your home base for everything related to teaching. When you log in, you will see a personalized overview of your upcoming teaching assignments, open sub requests, pending tasks, and more.
What You See on the Dashboard
Greeting header
The top shows a time-of-day greeting ("Good morning/afternoon/evening, "), today's date, and -- for team members -- a summary of how many things need your response, or "You're all caught up".
Needs your response
Appears only when you have items to act on. It lists, with Accept/Decline (or Confirm/Decline) buttons inline:
- Swap requests from other volunteers who want to swap a serving slot with you
- Substitute invitations you've been asked to cover
- Unconfirmed serving assignments awaiting your Confirm/Decline
My next serving
A large card for your next upcoming serving assignment: event title, date and time, location, your role/position, who else is serving with you, and a Confirm/Decline (if pending) or Check in / View schedule action.
My teams
A card for each team you're on, showing your role and your next serving date, linking to that team's page. When your teams have unfilled roles, a "Pick up an open slot" banner shows the count of open roles across your teams.
My tasks
Your pending and in-progress tasks, sorted by priority and due date, with Overdue and Urgent/High badges highlighted. View all opens your full task list.
Your church & family
A quick-access section (shown to everyone): Upcoming services, year-to-date Giving with a "Give now" button, My family, quick-link tiles (My Family, Directory, Prayer Wall, Messages, News, Forms), and a Prayer Wall quote.
Navigating to Other Team Features
Use the sidebar on the left side of the screen to access other features. Team members see:
- My Schedule -- Your full schedule, with Teaching, Serving, and Open Roles sub-tabs
- My Groups -- The teams and groups you belong to
- My Tasks -- Manage your personal to-do list
Plus the member items everyone has: Home, My Family, Events, Prayer Wall, Directory (if your church has enabled it), Messages, News, Forms, and My Giving.
Tip: Check your dashboard at the start of each week to see what is coming up. If you see open sub requests, consider whether you can help a fellow teacher.
Mobile Access
The dashboard is fully responsive and works on mobile devices. On smaller screens, the sidebar becomes a bottom navigation bar for easy access to all portal features.
