Pre-Check In

Pre-Check In lets you check your family in before you leave the house ("Save time Sunday morning by checking in now."). When you arrive at church, you skip the typing at the check-in kiosk and scan your code to print name tags and pickup labels.

When to Use Pre-Check In

Pre-Check In is most useful when:

• You are bringing kids to a Sunday school class or kids' worship service.
• You attend a service that uses check-in for security, attendance, or pickup labels.
• You want to skip the lobby line on a busy weekend.

Opening Pre-Check In

1. Log in to the Member Portal.
2. Open the Activity tab of My Account (account menu → My Profile → Activity).
3. Click Pre-Check Now.

Your church may also share a direct link to the Pre-Check In page.

Checking Your Family In

1. Under Who's Coming? ("Select family members attending"), tick each family member who is coming today.
2. For each person, optionally choose their class ("Select a class for each person (optional)"). A child enrolled in a class has it Automatically selected based on enrollment.
3. Click Get your code.

You'll see You're Pre-Checked! with Your Pre-Check Code:

• A QR code ("Scan this QR code at the kiosk for instant check-in")
• The code as text (Or enter this code manually:), in case the kiosk can't scan it
• A note that the code only works on the day you create it, so do this on the day you come

Keep the page open or take a screenshot so you can show it on arrival.

When You Arrive at Church

1. Go to your church's check-in kiosk.
2. Scan your QR code, or type the code.
3. Name tags for the children and pickup labels for parents print right away. You don't need to look anyone up.

After check-in, the Pre-Check In page shows who is Currently Checked In with each child's Pickup Code ("Show the pickup code to collect your child.").

If Your Plans Change

A pre-check code is only good for today. If you don't come, simply don't use it. Nothing is recorded until the code is scanned at the kiosk. Once a code has been used, the page says Pre-Check Already Used ("You can create a new pre-check below if needed.").

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Does Pre-Check In count my family as present? A: No. Your family is only checked in once your code is scanned at the kiosk, so plans that change don't create attendance records.

Q: Can I pre-check in someone outside my family? A: No. Pre-Check In is limited to members of your household so that pickup rules stay correct.

Q: My child does not appear in the list. What now? A: Make sure your child has been added to your household on the My Family page (see Family Management). If they are listed there but still missing from Pre-Check In, contact your church office.
