Team Directory
The Team Directory is a roster of fellow team members at your church, designed to make it easy to find another teacher, volunteer, or leader's contact information when you need to coordinate. It is accessible from the Team Directory link in the Team Portal sidebar.
Who Appears in the Directory
The directory lists every active team member of your church -- the same group that has access to the Team Portal:
- Teachers assigned to teach classes
- Volunteers on serving teams (sound, greeting, worship, etc.)
- Group leaders and co-leaders
- Anyone else your church administrator has marked as a team member
People who are members of the church but not on any team do not appear here. Only active accounts are included; deactivated users are filtered out.
If a person you expected to see is missing, ask your church administrator to confirm that the person has been added as a team member.
What Information Is Visible
Each team member is shown as a card with:
- Profile photo -- The person's avatar if they have uploaded one, otherwise a colored circle with their first initial
- Name -- The team member's full display name
- Role -- Their team role (member, leader, co-leader) when one is set
- Email -- A clickable mailto: link that opens your default email client
- Phone -- A clickable tel: link that places a call on supported devices
If a team member has not provided an email or phone number, that line is simply omitted from their card.
Viewing a Team Member's Profile
Clicking through to a team member's individual profile opens a more detailed view. The profile is read-only -- you cannot edit another person's information from the directory.
Privacy and Visibility
The directory is member-facing: only people who themselves have team access can see it. The general public cannot view the directory, and church members who are not on any team cannot view it either.
Each team member's email and phone are shown as they appear in the church's records. If you would like to hide your contact details, contact a church administrator -- profile-level privacy controls are managed in the admin portal.
Best Practices
- Use the directory before reaching out broadly. Before posting a question to a team-wide channel, check whether one specific teammate is the right person to ask.
- Keep your own info up to date. Update your email and phone in your profile so that other team members can reach you.
- Respect contact info. The directory is for ministry coordination. Do not use it to send unsolicited messages or share contact info outside your team.
